O’Henry Bars (Scotcheroos)

Ingredients

1 Cup Corn Syrup
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Peanut Butter
5 Cups Rice Krispies
½ Bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips or White Chocolate Chips
½ Bag Butterscotch Chips

Instructions

-Pour the Rice Krispies into a bowl and set aside.

-Bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil in a small pot over medium-high heat. Once it reaches a boil, remove from heat and add peanut butter.

-Pour over the Rice Krispies. Press into a 9×9 inch pan for thick bars, or a 9×13 pan for thinner bars.

-Put chocolate and butterscotch chips in a glass bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Pull out and stir. Repeat until they stir together smooth. Spread over the pressed bars.

-Put bars in fridge until chocolate sets and cut into bars.

Yield: 12-24 servings
